Dahlonega, GA, knows how to throw a party! Their latest shindig was the Bear on the Square Mountain Festival, held over the weekend of April 20, 2012.
You might be happy to know that we do not have any pictures from the mountain dancing or wine tastings that delighted so many cheerful revellers and/or semi-rowdy carousers.
Meanwhile, back at the Bear on the Square festivities, the sights, sounds and tasty goodies were delightful.
The artwork on display made even the most roll-your-eyes-when-you-hear-the-words-”arts and crafts” grump reach for his wallet to buy a doodad that would finally make life worthwhile.
For your pleasure, we present the final dose of pictures from the 2012 Bear on the Square Mountain Festival.
You don’t have to be a musician to join in! Borrow a guitar and play softly. Who will know?
You can even look cool at Bear on the Square by just sitting around with a banjo on your knee.

Brilliant Information Robert.
Robert, Thanks for the coverage of the Bear on the Square Mountain Festival and particularly our Artist’s Marketplace. I kept hearing from our artists, “What a friendly crowd!”. The artists and musicians are great folks with so much talent to share! What could be better than an April afternoon with great music to listen to while you shop for special one-of-a-kind gifts for yourself and friends! We really appreciate your time, encouragement, and publicity. Many thanks to everyone who came out! Come back next year and bring your friends and family!
