If you’re into live music, beautiful surroundings, great Georgia wine and delicious southern BBQ, you need to make it a priority to get to Three Sisters Vineyards Swine and Wine Festival.
It’s wine harvest season in Georgia and time to celebrate. Three Sisters Vineyards in Dahlonega celebrates the 2016 Vintage with their annual Swine and Wine Weekends now through October 31st. The event features live music, southern style BBQ and great wine.
Mouth-Watering and Award-Winning BBQ
You definitely don’t want to miss out on this year’s mouth-watering BBQ, prepared by South 40 Smokehouse and AngelFire7 BBQ.
Something special to look forward to this year on South 40 Smokehouse’s menu is Pitmaster Dale Thornton’s special Pork and Georgia Apple Kabob. Thornton rubs the lean pork loin with a special Georgia peach dry rub and slow cooks it over peach wood. Then he dusts local Mutsu apples from Mercier Orchard with cinnamon and skewers them with the pork pieces. He finishes the kabobs on a hot grill with homemade Pinot Noir pepper jelly. Wow!
