Gwinnett Braves Win the Playoffs! Championship is Next!

Did you see the Gwinnett Braves win the playoffs on Saturday, September 10, 2016?

What. A. Game.  Sure, the G-Braves are a Triple-A minor league baseball team.  There was nothing minor league about the way we won the International League South Division Semi-Final series over the Columbus Clippers by a score of 5-4.

Every man on the team has the same dream: Make it to the Bigs!  The big leagues — playing for the Atlanta Braves or just about any other team that plays in the Big Dance!

That desire was obvious with almost every swing of the bat and every time a ball was fielded.  This wasn’t a bunch of boys playing catch.  The playoffs are a way to help your team win — and to be a star at the same time.

Baseball’s equivalent to March Madness continues at Coolray Field on Thursday, September 15th when the G-Braves play for the championships.  Get a great seat, a hot dog and a soda for $15.  Parking is $5 per car.  You probably can’t go to a curling championship for 15 bucks.  Besides, who would want to?

Do the wave.  Get close enough to the players to see them sweat.  Hear the crack of the ball off a bat and the sound of a fastball hitting the catcher’s mitt.  This is baseball, up close and personal.

And our hometown team — the Gwinnett Braves — is guaranteed to win!  (Some restrictions apply.)

Cheer them on.  All the way to victory!
