Gov. Deal Joins Rio on the Water Celebration

lake lanier olympic parkJust in case lurid photos of beautiful Brazilian babes in bikinis aren’t enough to lure you to the “Rio on the Water” party celebrating the memory of Olympic Games at Lake Lanier, I have good news.  Governor Nathan Deal and his wife will lead the festivities!

This party of parties takes place on Friday, August 5, 2016, at Lake Lanier Olympic Park on Clarks Bridge Road near Gainesville, GA.  It’s the 20th Anniversary of the 1996 Olympic Games where the Canoe/Kayak/Rowing events were held.

Guests will be greeted with a Brazilian Carnival of Entertainment, including drummers and Samba by Dance Brasil, along with a festival of food, drink, music and dance.  It’s a high-energy, three-hour, non-stop performance of incredible talent.

Highlighting the event will be the Atlanta Showstoppers, a 12-piece band considered one of the best in the South.

The Opening Ceremonies of the 2016 Olympic Games will be streamed via NBC from the world’s largest athletic stage in Rio De Janeiro.

There’s still time to save up to purchase the $100 per pop tickets for Rio on the Water.
