Lake Lanier could use more lakeside dining, where you can enjoy a good meal, look at the lake, listen to live music and watch the sun go down.  Just when you need a dinner on the lake the most, the Lake Lanier Rowing Club (LLRC) hosts “A Taste of Gainesville” at the Lanier Olympic Venue at Clarks Bridge Park.

Here’s more good news: Speedos are not required!

All you need is a ticket to attend A Taste of Gainesville.

Dine under the stars with fancy Lake People, athletes and regular folks like you and me.  More than two dozen of the tippity-top restaurants in the area will offer samples of their food … that you will enjoy as you watch boats go by and tap your toes to dandy dancing music, while the sun sets on our beloved Lake Lanier.

This year’s Taste of Gainesville is scheduled for Saturday, October 4th from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Lanier Olympic Venue’s Plaza.

Save yourself five bucks by purchasing your tickets in advance for $25 through LLRC members or by going online at the link below.  Kids under the age of 10 get in free with a paying adult.

For only $40 more, you can reserve a table for eight and avoid sitting with riff-raff.  Come up with $50 more and you can have your own table for yourself and nine friends and/or family.  It’s the only way to be sure people like me won’t say, “Hey, baby!  Did you save that seat for me?”

Perfect weather is guaranteed* for A Taste of Gainesville on Saturday, October 4, 2014!  (* Some restrictions apply.)
