Sunset on Friday, November 15th takes place at 5:31 PM.
Very soon afterward, thousands of magnificent bright decorations will burst into the most glorious holiday-themed light show that you’ve ever seen.
That’s when the 21st season of the Magical Nights of Lights illuminates the 1,500 acres of Lake Lanier Islands.
Many of the favorites of happy families will return, such as:
- Twinkling lights of the shimmering Snowflake Bridge
- The 12 Days of Christmas and the
- Sparkling sneak peek at the elves at work in Santa’s Workshop.
They are joined by the dancing lights of Holiday House and the glimmer of the Diamond Wonder Light — both of which made their debut last year.
Transform your car, van or truck into a modern-day sleigh ride at Magical Nights of Lights.
You’re invited to stop at the Holiday Village to pass along a Christmas wish list and pause for a picture with Santa inside Holiday House.
Roast a marshmallow or three around a roaring bonfire, saddle up for a pony ride or take a ride on any of a dozen rides and attractions at the Christmas Carnival.
Guests can also:
- Lace up a pair of skates and go ice skating
- Soar through the night sky on a Night Light Canopy Tour and
- Dine at the Legacy Lodge’s Magical Nights of Lights Buffet (limited time only)

Each evening from November 30, 2013 through Christmas Eve, December 24, watch the inspirational Live Nativity, presented by Kaleidoscope Productions. The Nativity will honor the true reason for the season with an authentic representation of the First Christmas, complete with live animals.
