Nomadic Artists Return to Gainesville’s Square

loaded camelYou might remember when The Artists Formerly Known as Gallerie 110 (TAFKG110) moved to 110 Washington Street on Gainesville’s Square.  I doubt anyone remembers where TAFKG110 camped before then.

After one-too-many midnights at that oasis, this nomadic tribe of talented creators pulled up stakes, loaded their beasts of burden and trekked all the way to 224 Main Street, a camel-spit from their previous settlement.

Now, TAFKG110 — Surprise!! — is on the move once again.  Guess where they’re headed!

Right!  The Square in Gainesville!  (Now we know why these bedraggled stragglers are artists, not travel agents or pilots.)

The clever leaders at TAFKG110 have gone so far as to come up with a new name.  Ready?

Gallery on the Square

Gallery on the Square is in the Main Street Market, right by Sweet Magnolia’s.

For now anyway.

Who knows where they’ll go next … when their spectacular works of art become world famous and they all become WAY too rich and snooty to stay on the Square.

You’re invited to visit their spiffy new digs and view their unique artwork, as you’ve never seen it all before.

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the arrival of Gallery on the Square — with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a reception to follow — on Wednesday, April 10th at 4:30 PM.

The artists at Gallery on the Square will be there to meet you:

  • Paula Hoffman
  • Joyce Hornor
  • Ruth Money
  • Patti Russell
  • Shirley Seguin and
  • Carmen Stolorena.

Don’t miss this opportunity to visit Gallery on the Square while the artists are still willing to trade their priceless objets d’art for your filthy lucre.
